    When on the computer, the top menu bar will not direct me to any page if it has a drop down menu and I have this plugin active. Also, on the cell phone, once the hamburger menu for the top menu bar is clicked, it goes off almost immediately, and you can’t access anything off of that menu bar. Can you do anything to help with this??

    I’ve visited the page but was not able to see the error. If possible, replicate the error on a staging site to prevent disruption to your live site.

    Please check again! I haven’t changed the plugin, although I was messing around with things earlier. If you go to the website now, you should be able to see the error.

    I could verify the issue of the hamburger menu bar not working properly but I couldn’t see the one of the top menu bar.

    It doesn’t matter though because both menus are created with bootstrap. The latest version of the plugin can cause conflicts with themes already using an older version of bootstrap. This is the case in your situation. At the moment the only solution is to revert to the latest version of the plugin below 3.0.0.

    There’s already a plan in place to fix this compatibility issue but it’s not done yet as the 3.0.0 version has only just been released. You just have to keep watching the changelog for all the releases to see when the fix is ready.

    How can I get an earlier version? Also, any idea when the fix will be ready? I may need to temporarily change plug-ins in the mean time.

    Visit the link below and scroll down to “Previous Versions” to get the latest version of the plugin before 3.0.0. This should be 2.5.3.

    There’s no update yet on when the fix would be ready.

    OK, no problem. But eventually (as in the next update?) that fix will be ready, is that correct? Or will it just be worked on eventually?

    The fix is definitely planned to be released but it is unlikely to come in the next update.

    You know ideally it should be the theme that should upgrade from bootstrap 3 to 5 and not the other way round. Bootstrap itself is already moving into version 6 so we have to think of the future.

    Notwitstanding it’s a good thing to have a fix for incompatible versions and that’s what intends to happen for the plugin.

    Is bootstrap a theme? I am not using that theme. Rather Kleo. And all of my themes and plugins are up to date. Just FYI! Thanks again for your help!
