Top Menu doesn′t work on mobile and when i shrink my computer screen

    I am using theme twenty fourteen.

    When I shrink my screen to check the functionality of the website on my devices the top drop down menu icon doesnt work and doesnt display it.

  • For some reason your menu has gone to the bottom of the screen in the mobile view. Strange indeed… Did you change any styles related to menu?

    Did you make any modifications to the theme? There’s a little JavaScript that’s supposed to be loaded with the theme that handles things like the search bar and the navigation menu. The script should be located at js/functions.js.

    Thanks stephencottontail, i made some modifications and I’ve been trying and keep trying and it doesnt revert to the default status, As I am a beginner in this (only end user) could you please tell me how to put the script and what is it.

    Do you remember what changes you’ve made to the theme? If so, I’d recommend redownloading the theme from here, unzipping the file, and reuploading the theme to your server through FTP. Once you’ve got your theme working again, you should only make modifications using either a child theme.
