As stated in this old and closed thread, there can be an issue with not-updating top posts in the Jetpack widget: https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/jetpack-top-posts-pages-widget-not-updating/
We are experiencing the same issues on one of our client’s websites.
As stated in the official documentation under “Troubleshooting” this is a problem with certain expired transients not being deleted: https://jetpack.com/support/extra-sidebar-widgets/top-posts-pages-widget/
However, there is no information on why these transients sometimes do not get deleted. Our client’s website does not use any special caching plugins.
Is there a ticket or something regarding this issue?

I couldn’t find a GitHub issue about the transient issue. Most often, it is related to some kind of caching. This can come from either a plugin or happen at the server level.
To look into this more, could you please post your site URL here so that we can have a look?
