• Gday all, I’m using this theme so I can have a custom vertical menu on the left hand side in a widget. That works well.

I try to deselect the Top Primary Menu, as I obviously don’t want two menus.

Unf, when I do that, WP inserts about 40 pages into the top menu. I have about 70 pages on my website, so I have no idea how it chooses which to display and which to ignore.

I’ve seached every Customize option without joy.

How do I get it to display NO top menu, so I can just have my vertical menu?

    Thanks from down under!

I’m trying to port this site from Joomla to WP:

Very simple, nothing fancy, no header menus.

I’ve found a great plugin for porting the content over, I just need to find a basic theme as close to this as possible.

If you don’t want the menu, you just empty it by deleting the list of pages/links or whatever that is added in that menu. It is empty when you start using it, so if you havent added anything there yourself, check the settings. You may have a setting that automatically choose your pages to appear if you dont set your own menu.
