Hi, great theme, I’ve got a site set up and working but have just one minor issue… when you scroll back up to the top of the page, sometimes the background image in the top section is hidden slightly behind the header.

The site is https://www.bordercookers.co.uk – looks fine when the page loads, but try clicking a link in the menu. Then refresh the page. Then scroll up – it cuts off a little section of the image – or rather, the section moves too far up behind the header.

This might seem a minor issue on desktop but when you view the site on ipad or tablet, scrolling up and down the page causes the top section to jump a little, which is annoying. Another way of recreating the problem on desktop is to view the site from the top of the page, then click the down arrow in the vertical scrollbar once. Rather than scroll down slightly, it jumps.

    Can you help? Thanks

Resolved myself by removing the javascript from the header tag

    Hello,

I have the same problem but i still have an issue :

How did you manage to remove that JS in particular ?

I’m looking through the back-office’s file editor (header.php and header-site.php) but i can’t find the part I have to remove in order to fix the jumping header section …

Can anyone help me please ?

    Hi,

I really love this theme and made a beauty of a website using this theme. Unfortunately I have the same issue. Kmelv85, can you tell more specific what you did to solve this? I looked on https://www.bordercookers.co.uk and the issue is perfectly solved, it works fine!

Or can anyone else tell me? Is it in the js-files, and wich part do i have to remove?

Can’t remember exactly but one of the JS files was adding styles to the header tag, think it was position relative. My header is now fixed permanently so it stays at the top
