Topbar Settings vs Topbar Widget for Social Icons

    In terms of social icons, what’s the difference between Virtue Theme Options > Topbar Settings > Topbar Icon Menu versus adding the Virtue:Social links widget in the topbar widget area?

    Top Bar Icon menu simply allows you to choose icons with custom links to them in the top bar. You could link to social sites using social icons, similarly to the Social Links Widget.

    The social Links make it a lot easier to make a social menu though. Everything is all in one place and you can add your links quickly.

    @kevin – thank you. I found free social media icons and used those instead of the tiny icons that ship with Virtue. I can see the Topbar Icon Menu section is a lot more flexible and customizable.
