In Gutenberg editor Block mode, the “custom fields” bar obscures blocks lower on the page. This can’t be other’s problem, as when I switch theme companies, the “custom fields” bar stays on the bottom, and does not overlay the blog/post blocks.

    Hi there,

I’m not able to reconstruct the issue. Can you please provide some more information about the issue.

Tortuga adds editor styling for Gutenberg, so there can be some conflicts with other plugins or UI elements. Themes which do not add any styles yet might have not these issues then.

Are you using the WordPress Core custom fields or some extra plugin like Advanced Custom Fields or CMB2?

Which blocks exactly are overlaying? Every block or just specific blocks?

Which content is displayed within the custom fields?

Are you using any extra plugins which add styling or new blocks in the Gutenberg Editor?

Can you share screenshots about the issue, please?

    Which browser are you using?

Sorry for the questions, but I need some details to track down the issue.

    Best,
    Thomas
