• Hi! Is there a chance to include Tos “R” Us lightbox script in your plugin? I’ve been working with it in another plugin and I think it is very useful and has beautiful design. Thanks!

I wouldn’t mind building integration for it, but does the script have many users? It doesn’t show up on searches for good lightbox scripts. Not that it means anything if it doesn’t show up – most such lists are just subjective and not well-researched anyway.

I will need to dig into it a bit and it will take some time, since the next lightbox on my agenda was Magnific, plus I had some more pressing items to cover (like Gutenberg integration).

Hi Sayontan! Thanks for answering me so fast ??
The thing I like about Tos R Us is the fact that it has a fade transition effect, which makes watching the pictures more smoothly. So, what I am trying to achieve, is a lightbox script which gives the option to watch all the images from a page/post as a lightbox gallery, with thumbnails in the bottom, arrows on the sides and fade transition effect. Something like that: https://www.rolug.ro/2017/10/trophy-by-homersapien (click on a image). From what I tested, none of the lightbox scripts included in your plugin give me all these options. Or maybe there is a way and I haven’t discovered it yet? Magnific looks interesting, maybe it will have these options ??

Well, thumbnails are supported by quite a few bundled scripts (see the list here, under the column for “Thumbnails”).

As for a fade effect, the reason you don’t see it is because most lightboxes don’t have it as a default option, and Photonic doesn’t provide you a place to change it. E.g. Lightgallery has a setting when you launch the gallery, mode, which can take a whole list of options. The default option is lg-slide, though, and Photonic doesn’t have a setting for you to change it.

I think the default transition for Fancybox 3 is “fade”. You might want to give that a try. The effect is a bit fast though (366 milliseconds).

I tried more settings and unfortunately I wasn’t able to achieve what I intended. I guess I will get back at using the other plugin who has Tos R Us incorporated and check your plugin when you update it. Thanks for your help!
