    hi,

After I had good speed results (mainly I am looking in PageSpeed Insights) suddenly (yesterday around 4pm) the “Total Blocking Time” jumps from 60 ms to the next test in the next minute to 2800 ms and back again.
I was playing around with AO before and also WP Rocket.

I’ve tried everything: Like deactivating AO, deact. WP Rocket, reset the page to last week Fridays version, where everything was working.

    Please see those Screenshots:

I have also tested with different browsers and no wlan, but mobile 4g – same result.

Can anybody help me out, how can I fix this?!

    Many thanks,
    Michael

Btw it could happen not for 10 times, but then again..
sometimes for mobile, sometimes for Computer

As far as I know, it is possible to configure hosting

And your Protocol is (“http1.1” please upgrade to “h2 or h3”)

Your website has not been compressed Gzip or Br (may be due to incorrect plugin configuration or configuration on hosting)

Hey, thanks for taking time for this issue.
I had for a moment WP Rocket deactivated. Now it is compressed again (activated through the plug-in).

The hoster hasn’t yet http2, that could speed up things?

Anyway, I have to say that it didn’t occur in the past – same server of course.

hmmm … are you running ads or a/b testing or other 3rd party JS that you don’t control and that could extra logic at will?

The moment it happend yesterday, I was also playing around (tested it) with RanMath Seo and there I was creating stuff like schema. Somehow I have the feeling that this all came through it, but why should it still occur after deinstallation of this plug-in?

I have also switched to an older version (Backup) of the website and still the same.

    No adds used.

It could be many reasons but I’m using http3 and the .zip compression is fine

    have you tried enabling wp-debug?

I had found issues with the gallery today and yes it was in the log. But then, again the same game: I have disabled the gallery plugin and same thing.

Right now, I am restoring the version of tuesday. I hope it will go away.

I have also contacted the hoster now and asked about it, maybe they know. And I will ask later on when they will start to aply http2 or 3.

Man, it’s working now. I am so happy. Mobile 100% and LCP, FCP 1,2 in PageSpeed insights.
Before this reset to Tuesday those values were around 2,5 and the very bad “Total Blocking Time”.

I have no idea why. I have checked every setting of AO and WP Rocket. Everything was the same today like on the Tuesday verson.

If you or anyone has an idea how with the same settings different things occur, I am really interessted in hearing it.
