• Hello wordpress support community,
I am new to total cache. In fact i am new to wordpress. We just converted our site over from drupal 6. Apologies if you have heard this tune before…..

I am running Total Cache with Gcal events. parts of the site need to be re-cached on the hour, not initiated by posts. Specifically the index page and the schedule pages. What is the easiest way to set up total cache to re-cache specific pages (index page) on a timer?

Is there a cron i can set to run? Is there a better way to do this? Can I exclude specific parts of the homepage? I don’t see a way to not cache gcal_events while still caching the rest of the page for non-logged in users.

Currently I am using database Caching, object caching and minify and it works and I suspect that it will allow me to run at the same speed with quite a bit more traffic, but I cannot seem to enable page caching which is where i would get most of the speed boost.

    Whiskey
