Total Cache with Gcal Events caching issue
-
Hello wordpress support community,
I am new to total cache. In fact i am new to wordpress. We just converted our site over from drupal 6. Apologies if you have heard this tune before…..I am running Total Cache with Gcal events. parts of the site need to be re-cached on the hour, not initiated by posts. Specifically the index page and the schedule pages. What is the easiest way to set up total cache to re-cache specific pages (index page) on a timer?
Is there a cron i can set to run? Is there a better way to do this? Can I exclude specific parts of the homepage? I don’t see a way to not cache gcal_events while still caching the rest of the page for non-logged in users.
Currently I am using database Caching, object caching and minify and it works and I suspect that it will allow me to run at the same speed with quite a bit more traffic, but I cannot seem to enable page caching which is where i would get most of the speed boost.
