Total Mashup

  • First I tried the Shopify Buy Button on my WordPress site…. WRONG!… its doesn’t work…

    If it doesn’t work, why in the hell would Shopify offer it…AND…promote that it DOES work, but omit mentioning that it only works with .org …. DUH!… How many people build a Shopify site on a non-profit platform?….AND…you don’t tell us about it?…OMG…Thank you for wasting hours and hours of my time…

    Now… I discover that there is an APP offered by Shopify, specifically for WordPress… Here’s a plan…Why don’t you tell you tech people about it?…They did not have a clue…even when the case was escalated… Shopify tech support…clueless…

    Okay…so now I’ve downloaded the ‘for pay’ Shopify app….oh, okay… I have to PAY to connect to my own website!!! Gee, don’t you think you might have mentioned that in the sales pitch?

    Right now I have spent thousands of dollars and hundreds of hours of my time building a WP platform…to connect to a Shopify store that took hundreds of hours to build…. and now I find that Shopify won’t work with WP…no matter what I do…

    …and.. my email, text and phone remain silent from Shopify… that ol’ 24/7 support is not workin’ you guys…

    I am so pissed I can hardly write….

    The team is reviewing any and all pages that focus on our WordPress offerings to ensure that there is sufficient mention of the www.ads-software.com limitation of the plugin.

    It’s unfortunate, but WordPress.com is a very restrictive web hosting platform, our services along with many other WordPress plugins are restricted by Automattic (creators of WordPress.com) from working on WordPress.com.

    With that said, WordPress.com and Shopify are two separate platforms and companies, so there are no Shopify packages that allow you to use Shopify for free with a WordPress.com website.

    We apologize that it wasn’t more apparent that our Shopify services only work on www.ads-software.com and not WordPress.com, our team is currently reviewing and updating any pages that might be missing this information.
