I remember that I got an email regarding beta testing. But, in actual; It looks like that developer was in too hurry to release it without even testing.

The new version (7.0.1) looks like garbage on screen.
(1.) some icons size are greater than my laptop screen size and some icons are little. Icons are spreaded on screen multiple times and everywhere.
(2.) End the tour is not working. It pop ups again on page refresh.
(3.) Options are scattered on screen.
(4.) Very hard to find anything(options or information) in meaningful way.
(5.) The only working option is the widgets that are shown on wordpress dashboard screen.

  • I am similiar problem, as mentioned Ginormous icons on the dashboard too. This is only one site out of four sites that I have installed it. Other three are good and work fine. One of the other sites that is working has same caching, Cloudflare, Autooptimize and Varnish. I cleared Varnish and shut of minification of js and cleared Autooptimize cache and still the problem is not resolved. The error in the console is:
admin.php?page=Wordfence&vhp_flush_do=all&_wpnonce=2532001538:355 Uncaught TypeError: $(…).wfCircularProgress is not a function
    at admin.php?page=Wordfence&vhp_flush_do=all&_wpnonce=2532001538:355

    Any help would be appreciated.

On the site it is working I really do like the new look and feel – much improved from precious version.

It does seem to be a caching problem – once I disabled Cloudflare and hard reloaded the page the UI looks good. I ended up clearing the Cloudflare cache to resolve the problem and turned Cloudflare back on.

    Thanks.

    All

As wfYann mentioned, you have to open a new post for your issue. This is per forum rules that we don’t make but try very hard to adhere to.

Having said that, the first thing you should try is clearing any caching on your website. Almost every case we have seen of this exact behavior has been cleared up when the cache was cleared. Minified CSS or JS has also been suspected a time or two. You can try deactivating and reactivating the plugin as well (helped in a few cases). Please try these steps before posting your thread as it will help us considerably in trying to figure out what the problem is with your site.

    Thanks!

Regarding the ginormous icons and broken dashboard – I tried everything and finally found a fix for me. We don’t use Varnish or Cloudflare or caching plugins. I believe it was a result of php OPcache. A restart of php5-fpm on the server resulted in dashboards back to normal. Hurrah!!
