Total Mystery – Page contains content from another.

    Hello
    I obviously screwed up big time although what I did works.

    I finally got a wordpress page to open properly as my home page in the root folder of my site even though the wordpress files were all in a folder called blog. the only wordpress file outside blog is index.php – this file is in the root of my site.

    so now, if you go to my site it will open properly on the HOME Page. The problem: My HOME page content is in a wordpress page called BLOG, not a wordpress page called HOME. How is that possible?? (no idea how that happened).

    When you click on BLOG it goes to the blog – even though it contains the HOME page content.

    any help solving this mystery would be greatly appreciated. the site works but i would like to understand what happened.
