Total Newbie needs help BAD!

  • I live on disability and no money for web design. My friend designed my websight using WordPress. She completed it 2 days ago and had to leave on holiday vacation.

    Everything is there – in fact TOO MUCH!

    On my home page on the right; There is a heading User Menu
    with: entries RSS
    comments RSS
    www.ads-software.com
    Then there is a line that says “Recent Comments”
    And also, I have two links that say “our Blog”
    All these continue from my homepage throught my other pages.
    I need to delete them and have no clue how. They are not
    listed under “links”

    Please help? Pennie

  • Which theme are you using? what is your url?

    It would help if you told us where you were so that we could go and take a peek at what you’re talking about.

    It looks like they are on you sidebar ??
    You have a way to customize your sidebar with widgets. When no widget is installed, defaults appear, and then you just have to put a widget to have only what you want.

    You can drag and drop widgets from the section Theme / Widget in your admn panel
