    Hello,

    Just testing your plugin,

after optimising a handful (maybe 30) images, the plugin is saying:

Image optimized (including thumbnails) : 897/897
    Total images optimized : 561

Where is it getting those high numbers from?!

    Best

    David.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Those 30 images are the main image files. In a WordPress theme there are multiple image sizes defined for different uses (for example blog post thumbnails, portfolio thumbnails, gallery thumbnails, mobile size, etc.). WordPress resizes the images to all those sizes so that the site front-end loads quickly. It only loads the full image when necessary.

    Hi @davidsavill !

What said @salmanravoof is exact, reSmush.it will optimize all thumbnails and others sizes needed by your theme, hence you must have a higher number of pictures optimized.

Please rate us if you liked our plugin!
