• I am testing the Booster discount options and I have 2 questions:

Question 1: Is it possible to setup the Booster wholesale module that the discount is also applied starting from one item? At the moment I see only the discount applied from 2 of the same items. No matter what setting I use at the product wholesale setting. min quantity 0, 1 or leave it empty. Also tried to set 2 levels with both min quantity of 1 with the same level of discount.

Of course I can use the standard Woocommerce discount option, but as far that I know this does not work with the Booster shortcodes to display the discounts on the cart and or the invoice PDF.

    Question 2:
If I use the shortcode [wcj_order_total_discount] in my invoice HTML template it should display the total order discount. I made several test orders with products that have the standard Woocommerce dicount and products with Booster discount, but I did not see the total order discount shown on the invoice.

I hope my questions have enough information to be replied.

  • Hi,

    1. Regarding wholesale starting from one item – unfortunately this is not possible. Wholesale module’s main idea was to give discount for quantity (that is “buy more pay less”), so we limited minimum quantity to 2. I will try to remove this limitation, but I’m not sure this will be easy.

    2. [wcj_order_total_discount] shortcode will display discounts for *order* – for example when using WooCommerce discount coupons. If I understood you correctly your discount was set by product’s *sale price* (wholesale module also gives not “order discount”, but rather “product discount”), that’s why you didn’t see any discount when using the shortcode. Again I could try to implement this, but please confirm – you want to calculate the discount by summing the difference between regular and sale prices?

    Best regards,
    Tom

I live in the Netherlands and it is not mandatory to specify the discount on the invoice. But I would like the option if it is not to hard to implement.
Regardless if I use a Booster discount option or the standard WC discount option.

Now problem if it is to difficult to fix! I now know where the [wcj_order_total_discount] tag is used for.
