Total Sales Tax Report For Individual Product Sales

    Hello folks – How do we show total Sales Tax for individual product sales? Going to Analytics > Products can showcase Items Sold, Net Sales & Order count for a specific product. I need sales tax to be displayed here as well and would be all set. I would not think it would be too far off.
    Is there a reporting extension plugin I can add that will give me that individual sales tax per product breakdown? Open to any other suggestions.

    Hello @nwdwordpress,

    Like you suggest, the reporting feature you want is not part of core WooCommerce. The core Analytics → Taxes reports are suitable to report on total taxes for your tax codes collected over the period you specify, and taxes aren’t broken down in the other reports.

    You can of course customize the reports with custom code. That is outside the scope of this support forum, but if you are interested check out this article: Adding columns to analytcs reports and CSV downloads

    Outside of custom code, the most flexible way to report on your order data is to create reports from a direct CSV export of your products in your favorite spreadsheet software. The export can be done with a free order export plugin, and great premium options exist as well.

    If you want a more automatic solution, you might consider a hosted reporting solution like Metorik.

    Finally, if you’d like to see more core functionality in our reports, please consider filing a feature request on the WooCommerce GitHub repository.
