• Hey Guys,

I am currently testing your plugin for our site.

Would like to understand if it is possible to solve a limitation I have come across.

I notice that the total available stock quantity that is shown next to the add to cart button is not representative.

I have attached a photo for reference:

Would be wonderful if the total shown was drawn from the total available for the selected composite instead of the parent product.

Is this something that can be implemented easily?

Will be purchasing your pro plugin in any event as the Categories option is amazing!

    Cheers

    Hi @revivedit ,

Thanks for your suggestion. We’ll consider this.

For now, you can only add the stock manually by entering a stock quantity in the Inventory tab of the composite page.

    Best regards.

    Hi,

Thanks for getting back to me.

The more I think about this the more I think this might just be a bug?

Should the available quantity shown next to the add to cart button not show the available quantity of the current selection?

The quantity that is presented is based on the stock count of the parent product. This doesn’t seem right to me as this is not a reliable stock count. As if any of the sub-components have a lower stock count the stock shown next to the add to cart button is not representative.

This adds confusion for the customer. As they can potentially try to a higher quantity than is available to the cart.

    Hi @revivedit ,

Actually, even when you don’t set a stock quantity for your composite, our plugin will automatically calculate the stock for each component at product level. Since our plugin can allow adding products from a category & product tags, it’s just necessary to check the stock of the chosen product for a component only. As long as that chosen one is in stock, your customers will be able to choose it. In that way, there cannot be any error.

You just need to set the total stock for the whole composite in case you’d like to limit the number of deals for sale, for example, to sell only 5 combos when your inventory can in fact satisfy more than that.

    Best regards.
