I have 2 product categories each with their own flat rate shipping:

    1. Mixes and Soups- flat rate based on quantity ordered ranging from $10-24 per quantity set in the rules

    2.Gift Baskets flat rate $30.

I have successfully used the plugin to update the flat rate based on the quantity of products in the “Mixes and Soups” category. However, if I add a “Gift Basket” product to the cart, the two flat rates do not total the way I think they should, but rather it creates a radial button with a choice of which shipping rate to choose.

I have the flat rate set to “Per Class: Charge shipping for each shipping class individually” as the other option “Per Order to the most expensive class” would not be accurate as we want to charge a flat rate for each basket ordered and each set of Mixes and Soups ordered.

I replicated this issue on the plugin demo site, so it could be something I am missing, or perhaps its not a working function. Here is a screenshot of what it looks like on the demo site: https://willowpondgifts.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/10/shipping_no_total.png

Thank you for any advice you might have!

Sorry the 2 shipping method will not get summed up

you can do it like this create 3 shipping method

    1) modify your this Mixes and Soups shipping method and add extra condition that product
Gift Baskets should not be there in the cart

    2) modify your this Gift Baskets shipping method and add extra condition that product Mixes and Soups should not be there in the cart

    3) create a 3rd shipping method with the condition when of product Gift Baskets and Mixes and Soups are present in the cart

Thanks, I was able to get this working with the Pro version of the plugin. I didn’t realize it was an option exclusive to the the Pro plugin, but I was happy to upgrade for the feature. I initially wasted a bunch of time thinking your suggestion didn’t work. This feature only works with the “Additional Charges Section” turned on. Hopefully this post saves someone else some time in the future! Simply buy the Pro version (the price is reasonable in comparison to other options) and the feature works as noted with the Selection Rules: category equal/not equal on each type, then customize in the additional charges section as needed. Works perfect!
