Thanks @tien-nguyen for taking time to leave a review. Could I ask what editor you feel is right for WordPress? Are you absolutely happy with the one now or would you like to learn from other experiences? Anything you use outside WP you think is the right combination?

Your builder is even not better than my page builder. Honestly, yours is a copycat of Facebook note editor.

I am total happy with the current WordPress editor and your comment give me a belief about corruption in WordPress community.

If you have a plan to sell something like pro version or premium blocks, please do it on plugin, instead force people buying things from you by adding this thing to core.

    Regards.

Thanks for replying. When you say page builder, which one are you using? I’d love to know more about what you use today if not just the default editor? There are to be clear no plans to sell through core WordPress anything. It has an always will be free.

@tien-nguyen, Please stick to your own review to discuss your experience. You are allowed to make constructive comments on other people’s reviews, but you’ve been making a dozen destructive comments and those have been archived.

Also, don’t go after Tammy. Tammy is volunteering her time to help people that have had bad experiences.

    Hello @anevins,

As I said I like the editor but please keep it optional, please don’t force us to use the product without care our opinion (you can check number 1 star reviews), so I think that comment idea is not destructive.

I also ask for opening a poll to gather community votes about forcing people using the editor, and I also think that’s not destructive.

Constructive or destructive is personal perception. Some people will see the comment is destructive because it’s against their opinion.

For BAD EXPERIENCE, the editor has a bug that if you choose float image left or right, after that, you can’t change the style of that image (seem paragraph block was float OVER the image block which is the reason of broken feature).

Another, the editor will add EXTRA HTML COMMENT which will increase size of database, of course, waste of money on hosting or cloud.

Forcing people using this is constructive, I don’t think so.

    Regards.

Yes I did read what you said and I am asking you not to make destructive comments on people’s reviews. Thank you for understanding.

Thanks for the feedback. Here is what you did wrong.

Seem we got corruption in our community.

There is nothing here, in this plugin, in the team that supports this effort, in the replies from that team that supports that egregious comment.

As you have demonstrated, it is possible for people to leave productive feedback. That “corruption” nonsense was not that and please do not repeat that again.

No one here is anyone’s punching bag. You do not have to malign people to make your point.

    @anevins @jdembowski

Corruption or dictatorship is all about my personal FEELING, not about condemning you or anyone for corruption or dictatorship. Exactly, it’s the NAME of my feeling, appreciate if you understand.

Force people using a product without care about people votes make me feel the same way that my communist government force me doing things in my country, so I called the name of my feeling.

Because this is personal feeling so it makes sense to me when this is review page where people express their own feeling.

If that feeling or comment violated any term of WordPress community, please give me the link so I can edit the comment following the term.

    Thank you very much.

    Regards.

    I guess I was unclear.

Corruption or dictatorship is all about my personal FEELING, not about condemning you or anyone for corruption or dictatorship. Exactly, it’s the NAME of my feeling, appreciate if you understand.

No, not really. If you need to disparage people to express your feelings then you’re doing it wrong.

You can express yourself without name calling or casting aspersions on people’s intentions or motivations. Yes, I know it’s the Internet but that has a real short life here.

You can edit your review here.

I’m closing this review because we’re going around in circles. To anyone reading this, find positive ways to express yourself. I keep repeating this: no one here is anyone’s punching bag.

If you want to provide feedback to any plugin or theme please do so. That’s why the review section exists.

If you want to disparage or rage post/reply then yes, that will get dealt with. It’s not censorship, it’s a lack of tolerance for people behaving badly.

After digging deep into the plugin features, I changed my mind about the future of this editor, so I decided to raise the review back to 5 stars. I am even writing a extension for this plugin. Hope this 5 stars will encourage all developers who are fighting to improve the plugin. Thanks all you guys.
