Totally confused

I’m by no means new at the web or anything, but for some reason, I can just NOT figure out how to make an album show up on my WordPress site.

All I can find is:

You need to write a page and insert the [ nggallery id=x ] tag. Now go to the Gallery in “Manage gallery” and have a look at the right side at “Page Link to”. Define here the page of your gallery, not (!) your album page.

and that’s just not helping. Is this unclear to anyone else?

Please help.
