Totally Problematic Bilingual Elementor Pro Theme Builder

    Hello

    1. My rating for Elementor as a page builder is Five Star
    2. My rating for Elementor Pro theme builder is ZERO
    3. I purchase Elementor Pro and discovered it afterwards:
    a. The theme builder DOES NOT support bilingual sites, which does not mention it JUST – pre-purchase
    b. The post widget DOES NOT support Tags
    The consequence of all these is:
    ?To add the Polylang Connect for Elementor, which is totally problematic
    ?To go away many hours of work trying to fix things
    ?To download another plugin that supports post tags, making heavier the site. If tags are bad SEO practice, I urge you to contact the WordPress creators – otherwise DO NOT FORCED US to download another add-on for Custom taxonomies and Terms.

    With obvious indignation – but always at your disposal.

  • I’m not sure what you mean about the theme builder not supporting bilingual sites. There are thousands of bilingual sites that use Elementor.

    The post widget DOES support tags. It is in the Terms filter.

    Since you are using Pro, you’ll need to open a support ticket at my.elementor.com. www.ads-software.com rules state that commercial products are not supported here.

    3.What did you not understood about theme builder? I repeat, without Polylang Connect for Elementor there is not theme template (as footer) in other language (Display Conditions). It is first time you heard about it?
    4.If am I wrong, please proof it.

    Posts widget = You’re right. I thought you were referring to the Post Meta widget that is used in a Single Post template. The Post Meta widget does allow tags. The Posts widget does not have that option in the Meta field.

    I’ll just take your word for it regarding the bilingual theme footer. That’s not my experience but perhaps I’m not understanding your issue. Actually, I’m positive I don’t understand what you are referring to, so that’s why I’ll just accept what you say as the truth. Even though I don’t get what you are saying, perhaps these docs will be useful nevertheless: https://docs.elementor.com/article/42-translate and perhaps this one https://docs.elementor.com/article/568-how-to-change-the-language-of-elementor-and-elementor-pro but the first is most likely going to be more helpful.

    Generally speaking, Elementor Pro does not have every single feature anyone could ever imagine, that is true. Some features simply don’t exist yet. Some are available through third party widgets and plugins. Some are being worked on and will be available in the future. Pretty much like all other plugins. Elementor does try to satisfy a large base. But if the features you want are not available out of the box, there’s a good chance they are available in other ways.

    Thank’s a lot for your contribution. But the issue and the problems are still there. And ofcourse i beleive that Elementor is a great tool, however has many problematic aspects. And for our friends who want bi- or multilanguage sites, Elementor Pro does not help at all.
