Totally ruined

  • I updated today with a tribute to a deceased. And also updated this theme. Now there is a huge soldiers picture and some text before you can read my tribute. In fact you don’t even see my site anymore without scrolling. How utterly utterly rude and inappropriate!!
    This sure is one way to not attract any users anymore developer! Congratulations, well done!

    Sorry for this problem but we’ve added options in the admin to hide the default content of theme.

    please go to : Appearance -> Customize -> Basic Settings -> Hide default content from theme

    let us know if you’ve more questions.

    If this is still a problem for users, why not disable the default content with an option to enable it. Enabling default content when an installed theme is updated is a very bad practice and will only undermine your brand. Andre never did this before you guys took over. He would be appalled at this practice.

    We have already implemented this feature in updated pure and simple theme. There is feature to hide default content. any way thanks for the suggestion.
