Tour Dates queries

  • Hi, couple of questions regarding tour dates.

    Is the tour date supposed to read the date entered in the date field for sorting and to stop displaying once the date has passed. Mine is doing neither.

    I created one gig middle Feb, second one early March, and a third for the end of Feb – and that’s the order they are displaying, not in correct order of occurrence.

    Also, the mid Feb date has now passed, but the gig/event is still showing on the home page.

    Any help appreciated.

    Hi Kris,

    The tour dates display in the order added. They do not automatically organize in the order of the date. If you would like to easily order the dates, we recommend the Posts Type Order plugin, https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/post-types-order/

    Regarding the display of past dates, the theme used to function the way you mentioned, automatically hiding past dates. However, by popular request we removed that functionality because several users wanted past dates to be displayed.
