Touting My (First) WordPress Site

  • My website porting (from Dreamweaver to WordPress) is just about to go live. I’ve had people in the organization review it and provide feedback. Now, I’d like to invite other WP users to take a look and offer feedback (comments/suggestions/whatever). The development site is located at <arklatexmoaa.orb/wordpress/home-page>

    I guessed that your site is .org and checked in IE7 and FF3.6, and there are layout problems in both browsers;
    also a lot of html validation errors – check with https://validator.w3.org/

    Sorry ’bout that. My fingers got ahead of my brain – happens a lot. I do appreciate you catching my typo. I will also run the html validator per your good suggestion.

    The correct URL (at least until I get everything moved) is <arklatexmoaa.org/wordpress>.

    Ok, I think I got everything working correctly – at least at this point in time. I’m working on the html validation errors, but that seems to be a s-l-o-w process. The only ‘layout problems’ in IE8 and FF10 are that the Saturday column in the calendar plugin is wider than it should be. However, after changing the month, the width of the Saturday column corrects itself.

    You might want to consider upgrading both of your browsers.

    NOW, the correct URL is arklatexmoaa.org.
