TP change default English to German DE slug

    TP was ok for a year ago but now TP has changed things, MENU language is still in English, but MENU links changed from English no slug to German slug “DE” at top MENU if I hower over MENU name and if I press it, TP send me to slug “DE” with German.
    At the main page with English, there should not be any slug in the MENU links
    The strange is that it seems ok in the bottom menu with flags

    The website is written in English and marked in TP with Default Language: English (US) and that language is at top in the list hierarchy.
    Then I added my own scandinavian language and translated myself
    Later I added German and used DeepL to translate to German
    TP has worked OK in the beginning, but now it prefer German for some reason.
    Also the HOME in top Menu links to German slug “DE” and German language even after English (US) are chosen at bottom menu with flags.

    Where should I start look for the solution
