    Hi,

I would like to place a form (on my footer) where users may input their tracking number, press enter, and be directed to their tracking tools. Is this feature available?

If not, any other tools or resources you recommend?

Thank you for your time and I apologize in advance if this is a “dumb” question.

You can set a form, recommended on a dedicated tracking page, using the WooCommerce track order shortcode:
    https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/woocommerce-shortcodes/#section-5
This will create a form that the user can fill his email/order number and will be able to see the order details + tracking number and link to track his order.
If you want to auto-track your orders and have a tracking page with all events on your store, you should use the TrackShip Add-on.
    Thanks

I was thinking something more along the lines of something like:

(TRACK MY PACKAGE: [‘Enter tracking ID here to track your package’] )

As opposed to entering the order number or email. Just another layer of convenience for the users to access this information.

Thanks, I appreciate your swift support.

Hi, your customers get the tracking number+link to track their order on the carrier website. if you wish to have a tracking page on your website that will display the tracking status and details, you can use the TrackShip Add-on

    Thanks
