Do you mean you trackbacked two sites when you posted something ?
If so, the problem could be their end.

I posted something on my site, added their tracbak url to ping, pinged successfully but no post added to their site. And others have trackbacked to their site.

Maybe they have trackbacks moderated so it will appear there later.

I doubt it, it is Polipundit and The Anchoress. BOth know me so it shouldn;t be an issue.

Don’t know what blog tool they’re using, but at least the MtDewVirus’s Moderate Trackbacks plugin I used moderated everything.

as far as I know, Poli just uses WordPress. Anchoress is using haloscan

I’m still having this same issue, even after applying the above fix.

After the above fix has failed, I decided to re-install WordPress and it still doesn’t work. Then tonight I used the functions.php file from a blog that the trackback is working on and it still doesn’t work.

I’ve check, re-checked, and checked-some-more all of the settings and all are as they should be. Trackbacks were working just dandy before the upgrade. I’m not seeking help as I know this problem may be local (not sure how but I digress) I just wanted to make those who might be having similiar problems aware. ??

I still am not working either, pings say they are successful…. WASSUP?
