• Whenever I am sending a Trackback to another WP-Blog, suddenly there is a link shown with massive encoding problems: Screenshot

Encoding for pages and feeds in WP is “UFT-8”
    default MySQL:
    character set client utf8
    (Globaler Wert) latin1
    character set connection utf8
    (Globaler Wert) latin1
    character set database latin1
    character set filesystem binary
    character set results utf8
    (Globaler Wert) latin1
    character set server latin1
    character set system utf8
    collation connection utf8_general_ci
    (Globaler Wert) latin1_swedish_ci
    collation database latin1_swedish_ci
    collation server latin1_swedish_ci

I am sticked with this, because I don’t find a reason for. Therefore any helpful comments would be much appreciated.

    regards

P.S. I am running a self hosted english version from WordPress on a most current Debian, MySQL and PHP5.
