TrackBack help.

I have searched this site for trackback help numerous times and tried a few things, none seem to work. My trackback work, if I trackback one of my own posts it works and shows on the post I trackbacked to. However when I try to track back to another site it does not show that I trackbacked to that article. Some sites I tried were kevinrose.com, alexalbrecht.com, sarahlane.com, dblookup.info, and a few others. When I check my edit post its says Pinged Already. and shows the trackback uri. however when I go check the site it does not show my trackback. So my question is what am I doing wrong? you can access my blog via jtintle.com/blog or jtintle.info any help suggestions or comments would be nice. And yes I already feel like an idiot for having to post this.
