Trackback spam

    I just did a global SQL statement on the database: UPDATE wp_posts SET ping_status=’closed’ WHERE ping_status=’open’. Hopefully it will stop the trackback spam I have been getting lately.

    I had turned off Allow pings’ some time ago, but I was still getting pings on my very early comments.

    Have others tried anything as drastic
