trackback_number()

  • I am trying to insert ‘trackback_number()’ in order to display numbers of trackbacks, but when I use this tag, everything after this tag mysteriously disappeared. Does it work with WordPress I am using right now? Cirrently I use version 0.71. If I use ‘comments_number()’ in same way, it works perfectly.
    Or if there is any other way to display numbers of trackback I received, please advise.

    Well now my question is, is there any way that I can receive the mail informing me that I receive a trackback just like when receiving a comment?
