Trackbacks not working?

  • Looks like I replied to a two year old topic so maybe I should ask a question here pertaining to the new version of WP.

    It seems my trackbacks are not being sent out. Is there a setting I am missing other than simply putting the trackback into the form field under your post?

    I tried to trackback myself but got nothing. If I put the url of one of my posts in a new post I get a pingback but if I make a post and put the trackback url in the trackback space with no link in the actual post I get nothing at all.

    Any suggestions?
