• So I’ve read so much about the tremendous asset Trackback or Pingback is with WordPress (over blogger) but having set up a WordPress blog, can’t figure out where they are or how to set them up.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

    Have you gotten any trackbacks?

I think, at least it sounds like, you are confused.

The theme you are using is not displaying your trackback link. Thats one issue.

Trackbacks and Pingbacks are treated like comments by WP. That said, IF you have gotten any, they will be displayed as a comment, assuming you haven’t hosed up the part of your theme that is responsible for displaying those.

They are also managable via the manage > comments page

Brilliant, thanks, any way I can create one to test it?

    Create one, what?

What are you testing, what a trackback looks like on your site, or what one looks like after you have sent one?

So I’m still lost as I know I have dozens of links to posts in my blog. A few include /trackback/ at the end.
None appear as comments at the end of my posts though nor do my posts have the “trackback” link I’ve frequently seen on other blogs.
HandySolo, that link was insightful but still doesn’t explain how to set up what seemingly isn’t set up on my blog (otherwise, by that explanation, I’d see them on my site)
    Right?
