Trackbacks with wrong title/URL

  • For months now, my blog has been sending screwy trackbacks that have content and tags from one post, but the title and URL of the previous post. I have seen it happen in trackbacks to Technorati and to other blogs. I upgraded to 1.5.2 and there has been no change in this problem.

    I previously thought it was technorati’s fault, but now I’ve seen it even with trackbacks to my own blogs being funky, so I know it’s WP sending the bad data.

    How can I fix this?

  • I am having exactly the same problem. Did you ever fix it? I have studied my trackbacks but can’t see a prooblem with them.

    I’m glad to hear I’m not alone. I’ve just upgraded to WordPress 2.0.1, and I’m still having this problem. ??

    It’s a real issue because my tags are either not indexed properly or not recognized at all by Technorati.
