Tracking Downloads

Hello,
I have download links of my website and to make these links work on Safari and Windows Explorer I have added the extension “?fdl=1” to my link. ( e.g. https://website.com/image.jpeg?fdl=1 )
However Slimstat is no longer seeing this as a download and displays “unknown” instead, is there anyway of correcting this?
