Tracking Form Abandonment With Google Analytics

    Does anyone know how to setting GA code for tracking abandonment on a Contact Form-7? That is, where (what fields) are visitor bailing out of the form.

    I have the basic event tracking code on the form and it is working fine and want to further understand what contact form on the site works the best.

    Hi,

    unfortunately I can’t solve your problem, but I wanted to know how you did get working the basic event tracking ??

    The code is like this:

    on_sent_ok: “_gaq.push([‘_trackEvent’, ‘Contact’, ‘Lead’, ‘Contact Form’]);

    We set up the goals, but it doesn’t work.

    Which code did you use?

    Place the code in the “Additional Setings” section of Contact Form-7

    The code you are using is exactly what I used.

    Did you notice in Google Analytics in the Behavior/Events/Top Events section whether your category “Contact”, appears?

    Yeah that’s what we did, but nothing happened, no category appeared in Top Events…

    This is the exact code I’m using for one of my forms:
