Tracking Form For Pixel

  • Hey,

    So I have set the fb pixel code in the header and installed your plugin. With the Chrome helper extension I can see the lead event saying it hasnt been triggered etc. I understand this is shown because it is being procced on the button press.

    I did a test filling the form out and hitting send and nothing changed in the extension even though the form says successful submission. Is this normal? I would like to know if there is a way to test if its working.

    Hi @seriusprime. Yes that’s the way to test it. Please make shure that in the configuration of the plugin you have checked: “Track Facebook Pixel (lead)?” in the “Tracking options”. On install this is not checked.
    With the option checked it should work.

    Yes that is enabled. I have tried submitting the form a few times and it has not worked, I get nothing in the chrome extension changing and nothing in the fb panel. The pageview is coming through fine.

    Hi @seriusprime,

    We checked the linked page again and in the source code there should appear <script type="text/javascript">document.addEventListener( 'wpcf7mailsent', function( event ) { with a line that should be fbq('track', 'Lead');.
    This is what triggers the Facebook Lead.

    If in the configuration of the plugin you have checked: “Track Facebook Pixel (lead)?” this should appear. We are not sure why this is not the case.

    Can you also please check this?
