Tracking interrupted

  • Hi,

    WP 4.9.9
    Plugin ver 1.8, updated today to 1.9

    Tracking CF7 conversions on GA has been working good for months. Some weeks ago it disappeared.

    I have tried to send forms with GTM preview opened today. I haven’t seen any data layer (gtm4wp.contactForm…) passing anymore.

    Plugin settings are always the same. I have also tried to update plugin to 1.9. Nothing.

    What test should I also do?

    Hi,

    Since you have a dedicated thankyou page with your CF7 form setup, my plugin will not be able to catch successful form submits. You can do one of these:

    1. Keep your current settings and use the thank you page URL in your goal tracking and remarketing lists: /test-ammissione-grazie/
    2. Remove the dedicated thank you page which should bring back the default CF7 functionality and let my plugin to catch form submissions

    Hi, many thanks for your reply.

    Very strange is that the actual configuration, with tracking submission with data layer Google tag manager and thank you page, it has been working for months..

    I will try to remove those thank you page anyway.
