I’ve activated the free plugin on our root site (sites.tufts.edu) and GA is tracking traffic to that but not the sub-directory sites (e.g. https://sites.tufts.edu/praxis/). Looking at the source I see that the tracking code is on the root pages but NOT on the subdirectory pages. What am I missing?

    Thanks!

    Hi @trenchy,

Thanks for reaching out. I’m sorry for the trouble here.

Once you have MonsterInsights installed and activated on your WordPress multisite at the network level, it will automatically work and begin tracking across your sub sites without further configuration.

When I visit https://sites.tufts.edu/, I’m not seeing MonsterInsights inserting your Google Analytics tracking code, it seems to be coming from a different plugin.

If you decide to switch back to using MonsterInsights, our team is happy to take a closer look at things, just let us know.

    Thanks!

    Hi @trenchy,

We haven’t heard back from you in a few days, so I’m going to go ahead and close this thread for now. But if you’d like for us to assist further, please feel welcome to continue the conversation.

    Thanks!
