    Hello!

I really hope you can help me. I am using your plugin.

We have a Mailchimp pop up form on our website that appears after 20 secs. I want to track the nr of subscriptions via this form and send this info to Google analytics.

I have tried numerous ways in Google Tag manager without success.
There is no formSubmit event in the dataLayer so I can’t use the form event. When you fill out the form you also don’t get redirected to a new thank you page after subscribing, so I can’t use that. There is a pop up box that shows for maybe 3-5 secs after subscribing saying “thank you for subscribing”. I’ve tried using this as a CSS selector in GTM but that didn’t work either.

Someone told me that the Mailchimp pop up form is in an iframe and therefore these conventional methods won’t work.

So my question is, do you have any idea how I can track the nr of pop up subscriptions we get and send this to Google analytics?

Any help is VERY appreciated! ??

    Thank you!!

Hi @isabella92, That’s an interesting use-case, and it sounds like you may need to engage a 3rd party developer to achieve the desired workflow for your Woo store.

Here at the plugin team, we wouldn’t be the best resource to implement a custom solution as you’ve described. If you’re interested, check out the Mailchimp Experts Directory for possible candidates to help you on your project: https://experts.mailchimp.com/

Good luck with everything and let us know if there’s anything else we can do.
