Tracking Outbound Links in Sidebar

    I am trying to track outbound links in Google Analytics for advertisement banners in my sidebars manually using the text widget. I’m using a very simple plugin called Ad Rotator. All it requires is:

    Simple widget to display random HTML code (advertisements) from a given group of HTML-chunks separated with <!–more–> on sidebar.

    If there is a more manual way through a text widget that will allow me to rotate banner ads and count outbound clicks, I’m all ears. I’ve been frustrating myself to no end trying to figure it out.
