Same phenomenon as others observed, also here. A severe decrease of users starting on january 14th (day of update?).

    Numbers for yesterday, same website:
    WP Statistics: 0 visitors
    Koko Analytics: 188 visitors

Hits are recorded, but reports show almost no numbers.

I did a rollback now to 13.2.14, and it looks as if I get user numbers again.

I suspect this phenomenon to occur in cases where the WordPress URL differs from the site-URL. Maybe … Hi, dev team, please look for a bug in version 13.2.15

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi,

Thank you for reporting the issue, can you please try the new version by enabling the option “Cache Compatibility” in Settings → General?

    Also, further information is here

    Hi,

this setting is and was always on (we use WP Rocket). And it worked like charm until update to version 13.2.15

Here you have the request parameters, but you know that you can see them by yourself using the browser dev tools. Please examine the homepage and any other page.

    13.2.15 (currently active again):

    Homepage:
    wp_statistics_hit_rest: yes
    exclusion_match: yes
    exclusion_reason: CrawlerDetect
    track_all: 1
    current_page_type: home

    XHR Response: {“status”:true,”message”:”Visitor Hit recorded successfully.”}

    Another page:
    wp_statistics_hit_rest: yes
    exclusion_match: no
    exclusion_reason:
    track_all: 1
    current_page_type: page

13.2.14 shows the same (even the “CrawlerDetect” for the homepage), but provides numbers in the reports, whereas 13.2.15 does not.

    Cache compatibility is on.

Currently I activated the registration of exclusions.

Now I’ve rolled back again to 13.2.14, as 15 yields in no-data.

    Hi,

Thank you for giving us the useful information, that helps us a lot!

I guess there is an issue in Crawler detection, so I’ll investigate to find the issue.

OK, it’s in place. I’ll give a note tomorrow how the reports behave now.

Sounds good, btw, don’t forget to rename the development version from?wp-statistics-development?to?wp-statistics?and then upload it.

Looks good, the reports show numbers again using the patched version. Although I did not rename it.
