Traditional Newsletter

I thought something of the sort would exsist, I can’t believe I am pulling my hair out looking for a plugin that functions like a regular newsletter.

PHPlist fits the bill niceley, however support for the PHPList integration into WordPress seems to have stop entirely. FunkyPenguin doesn’t even have the links working on his site to the plug-in, and I am desperately trying to finish the pieces of my site, and the newsletter is a critical part.

I am running the static home page plug-in by semiologic, and using the WordPress backend to easily add new pages. My site won’t necissarily be a blog, rather using the blog interface to easily add new pages and of course SEO purposes. Can anyone point me in the direction where I can integrate a conventional newsletter into WordPress with opt-out.
