You can submit a string. If the validator thinks it is an improvement it will be accepted and appear in an update a few hours later.

Which string do you want to change?

En fait, je souhaiterais modifier des tradustion, à titre personnel (individuel), sans que cela impacte les autres utilisateurs de l’extension, et tout en étant conscient qu’il faudra refaire la modification à chaque mise à jour.
Est-ce possible ?

You can take a look at the plugins Loco Translate and Say What. I am not sure how they exactly work, I haven’t used them for quite some time. Can you manage what you want with these plugins?

Also, the add-on has string replacement. If the string is unique enough, you could look into that.

And again, which string do you want to change? ??
I might be able to give a more specific answer, not just an answer that is too general.

I would like to change :

– “Nom:” to “Nom :”
– “Ville:” to “Ville :”
– “E-mail:” to “E-mail :”
– “Nom:” to “Nom :”
– “Accepter la politique de confidentialité:” to “Avez-vous pensé à lire les mentions légales ?”
– “Merci pour votre message !

Nous allons l’examiner et le déverrouiller dans un court instant.” to… I don’t know for the moment.

And change the URL of the “Privacy policy”.

Apparemment, vous souhaitez, entre autres, optimiser la typographie (avec l’espace insécable devant les deux-points), ce que je trouve très positif.

Dans le même esprit, il faudrait alors remplacer l’apostrophe droit ‘ par l’apostrophe typographiquement correcte telle que vous pouvez la voir dans cette phrase.

De plus, le RGPD ne convie pas l’utilisateur à lire une politique de confidentialité ou autres mentions légales, mais à indiquer qu’il en a pris connaissance en cochant une case obligatoire, et ce, même s’il n’a pas lu ladite politique…

Oui, c’est exactement le genre de petites modifications que je souhaite apporter à l’extension, mais sans les imposer à la communauté.
C’est pour cette raison que je demandais où se trouvait le fichier *.po, afin de modifier les traductions moi-même. ??

The ‘:’ characters in the form will be gone in the next version.

The link to the Privacy Policy page can be changed in your dashboard at:
/wp-admin/options-privacy.php

Like I said, there is no po file.

If you want to change the text for the privacy policy, use this PHP filter:

This string can be changed with PHP code. Example code is here:

This string is more complicated. If the previous string change is too difficult, this one surely will be.

That last string can be changed in Guestbook > Settings > Form settings
