Transfer failed, http error, error code:406

  • Hi,

    I get this error message: “Transfer failed, http error, error code:406”
    when I try to do an automatic migration.

    I have copied the key from the destination site to the site to be migrated.
    I have selected database + files.
    And click on Clone then Transfer.
    The cloning is done correctly, but the transfer failed.

    The site contains 2 posts and 4 images. No plugin excepted WPvivid Backup Plugin.

    Thanks for reaching out out to us.

    An http error means the two websites can not be connected with each other.

    In that case, it is recommended to use the manual transfer option instructed in this doc.
