Transfer Reviews to New Site

I too am in need this solution. As a noob to WP I did not know I would have this problem. Now all the great reviews are sitting in a website that no one uses anymore. The site is still live for another 2 weeks before I lose them. I would like to move them to my new site. I have not started a new customer reviews page in the hopes I can restore from my old website. If I cannot restore I’ll be looking for a plug in that has the capability to backup and restore review. I’m not a noob anymore and have access to files and DB. I have an entire DB back up but don’t know where the reviews are to move them over.

Please provide a solution if it’s possible or if it’s not possible.

I ended up transferring them by copying and pasting them individually at the back end.

Reviews > All Reviews > Add New (next to title)

I found a solution by trying to fix another unrelated problem
Steps to export from old site and import to new WP site do the following:
1) in your old site in WP admin screen click Tools > Export
2) Select WP Customer Reviews and click Download Export File and save the XML file to your computer
3) Next login to your new site and click Tools> Import
4) Install WordPress once installed you see link Run Importer
5) click Run Importer and select the XML file you exported from your old site.
6) now click on Reviews and you should see all your reviews
7) Now edit each post for it to display, I changed the column “Reviewed Post” from (Not Posted) to Reviews, I think is says Reviews because that the name of the page I want to display it in. But either way it worked for me.

Hope this helps someone. If I would have know before, my last review was from 2015 and now its feb 2017.

I was wondering if you know how to import the reviews from my old website that is using a previous version of reviews that are still stored in the database?
