• Hello,

I transferred my WP.com to a new self-hosted site, https://sciofrelief.com/justscience. A lot of snafus happened and I had to reset my account and setup my new blog at https://justscience.sciofrelief.com. I tried to get the subscribers transferred to the new site from WP.com but they can’t because they have already been transferred. Here is the message I received:

    Hi Matt,

They have already been transferred to: sciofrelief.com/justscience/ so there are no followers to move at this time.

I just checked and your followers are all there. If you cannot find them it would be best to speak with support at www.ads-software.com because I have no access to your files from here at WordPress.com.

I still have sciofrelief.com/justscience showing up on my WP.com account via Jetpack. What can I do to move these to the new URL?

    Thanks,
    Matt Russell, Ph.D.

    Hi there!

I’m sorry for the delay in getting back to you. I am not sure if this was ever solved for you by one of my colleagues. Do you have a ticket number I could look at? Also, for the record, both sites seem to be using the same Blog ID, but I’m not sure that they are actually the same site. Did you clone one to the other? Can you give me more details about your setup, and why one site is a subdomain and the other in a subdirectory, and what site is supposed to be the canonical one? But before I get lost in the details, let’s see if you have a ticket number for me.

Also, for my future reference, here is the blog ID I see in the source of both sites: 65382391
