Transfer to another hoster

  • Hi,

    i have to change the Hoster and domain of my existing website.

    But whren i try, the settings of customizer will not be taken to the new Domain.

    What can i do to solve this problem?

    did you migrate the db successfully and the only settings not taken in account are the theme’s settings?
    All of them?

    Hi Rocco,

    thats it. DB was succsessfully, but not the Theme-Settings.

    I rename the domainname with notepad++ to the new domain and import it.

    All works well but not the lovely theme…. ??

    Whats wrong? What can i do?

    That’s pretty weird indeed.
    Would you try to make a more accurate (handling serialized data) db migration using a plugin like:
    https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/wp-migrate-db/
