• I am trying to Transfer my www.ads-software.com Domain to WordPress.com . How do I do this, it would be nice to have a phone number to actually speak to someone regarding this. It is highly frustrating to not have any knowledge or be able to find any information on how to do this.

Due to the differences between the free hosted blogs offered at wordpress.com and the self-hosted and self-installed version of WordPress supported here, you should probably ask WordPress.com Support instead.

That’s interesting because WordPress.com support told me to ask www.ads-software.com. It would be nice to have a phone number to call someone and ask the question. But that would be too easy..

Support is provided by volunteers, there’s no one here to call. WordPress.com is a hosting company; they should be able to help you transfer your blog there.

Would you mind letting me know who said that? I work over there (and volunteer here), so I’d love to make sure we correct that misinformation.

To clear up any confusion, WordPress.com and www.ads-software.com are two different entities: https://codex.www.ads-software.com/WordPress_vs_WordPress.com

As for your domain, you cannot transfer it to WordPress.com, as WordPress.com is not capable of accepting incoming domain transfers, but you can still use your domain with any WordPress.com site following this guide: https://en.support.wordpress.com/map-existing-domain/
